Performance
Performance is coloured in shades of red and is housed in the building in the south-west corner of the site. The Leadership Team in Performance comprises Mr P Stapleton (Head of School), TBC (Core Leader for Literacy), Mr P Kermally (Lead Practitioner), Mrs C Robinson (Learning Progress Leader) and Mr A Griffith (Programme Leader).
Performance is named because of the nature of the subjects that it specialises in. It has specialist facilities for Dance, Drama, Media, Music and Physical Education. These include: a 210 seater performance space/theatre, a Recording studio for TV/Radio, an additional performance space that opens electronically onto the main dining area, 7 music practice rooms, a 4 badminton court sized Sports Hall, two MUGAs (Multi-Use Games Area – 1 of which is Floodlit), two full sized football pitches, a 4 lane running track and a fitness studio.
