Travel and Tourism

Objectives:

To gain an understanding of the range of organisations involved with different types of tourism in the UK, including their roles, how they work together and how they technology to meet changing customer needs.  You will gain an understanding of what the UK travel and tourism industry has to offer to tourists and also to be able to explain the appeal of International travel and tourism destinations. You will also look at the importance and the aims of customer service.

To demonstrate their ability to: select, organise and use information from various sources; evaluate evidence and data relating to travel and tourism, and make judgements about it; present conclusions accurately and appropriately
