Carshalton Athletic Football Academy

Summary

The Carshalton Athletic Football Academy is a full time sports and educational program at Stanley Park High.

The main aim of the Academy is to enable promising young football players (16-18yrs) to continue with further education whilst striving to become semi-pro or professional football players.

Successful applicants typically join the first year of the academy in the school term directly following the GCSE exams (Year 12). The Academy program runs for a two year period. During this time students will spend about half the week studying for A Level or BTEC qualifications and the other half participating in the football development program. Each student will receive approximately 6-9 hours per week in active training.

The academy also be accepts particularly talented students directly into year 13 for a one year program.
